MOQ 0 Explained: Why White-Glaze Try Orders Carry No Minimum

No minimum on white-glaze models, thirty pieces on coloured ones — the reason sits in the kiln schedule, not in a promotion.

What MOQ 0 means here

On every white-glaze model in our own catalogue there is no minimum order quantity. You can take one set, ten sets, or a mixed order across several models and pay on the same unit price basis as a full container order. It is not a promotion and it does not expire — it is how the white-glaze line is planned.

Why it works on white and not on colour

White glaze is the default finish. White-glaze bodies are already in the firing schedule for other orders and on the shelf as finished stock, so adding your piece to the next firing costs the line almost nothing. A coloured or matte glaze is a dedicated run: the glaze is mixed for that batch, the spray line is set up and cleaned for it, and the kiln is loaded with that colour. The minimum protects that setup, which is why coloured and matte glazes carry MOQ 30 per model.

The two rules side by side

  • White glaze — MOQ 0, models can be mixed within one order, standard 30-day lead time
  • Coloured or matte glaze — MOQ 30 per model, quoted as a planned batch
  • Samples — free of charge on catalogue models; freight discussed per destination
  • Payment — T/T or L/C at sight
  • Warranty — ceramic body for life, fittings and parts for five years

Why a small trial order is worth more than it looks

A try order settles three things that no catalogue photograph can. Whether the model sells in your market at your price point. How it arrives after real freight handling. And whether the seat and fittings meet your customers’ expectations in the room. Alongside that, it puts a physical piece in front of your own sales team and lets you test carton and labelling decisions before you commit to a print run.

The cost of finding out with a few pieces is small. The cost of finding out with a container is a container.

How to place one

Send the model codes and the quantities, plus the market you are selling into. We confirm the glaze, the trap type and the roughing-in, and the order runs through the same casting, glazing and firing lines as any other. If the model is wall-hung, tell us which in-wall frame you are using — the ceramic bowl is one part of that system and the frame has to be specified with it.

What MOQ 0 is not

Three honest limits. It is not a price guarantee on coloured or matte finishes, which are quoted separately at MOQ 30. It is not a commitment on a model outside the catalogue — a new mould is a different conversation with its own tooling cycle. And it is not a substitute for a sample: samples are free, and we would rather you held the piece in your hand before ordering the pallet.

Take the drawing with you

Every model in the range has a front, side and top view drawing with the printed dimensions, published by model code in our downloads section. Ask us to confirm the trap option for your market before you commit — that single question saves the most time on a first order.
